What are your fees?

Each case is unique and requires a different mix of therapies/number of treatments. Therefore, the cost of a treatment plan will vary per person. Call us to schedule a new patient consult ($45) where we will determine if acupuncture is a good fit for you and your goals. If the practitioner and patient agree to move forward, you'll have the option of beginning your treatment plan that day. Please come on time with all paperwork completed, or plan to come 15 minutes early to do paperwork in the office.

Does insurance cover acupuncture?

Most FSA and HSA cards cover acupuncture, which we accept. Some insurance plans cover acupuncture, but coverage requirements vary. Contact your insurance company to see if they will reimburse you directly for an out-of -network provider and what their parameters are. For example, some will have a visit limit, some will only reimburse with a physician referral, some for specific conditions only, etc. Upon request, we'll provide a courtesy superbill for you to submit to your insurance at the end of each month.  Important: We do not guarantee reimbursement, and we do not assist with claim denials. 

How long does it take to see results?

It varies greatly per case. Age, lifestyle, health history, and how long you've had the problem all factor in. Your initial consult is the starting point so your acupuncturist can gather information enough information to help you determine a proper course of treatment. 

Does it hurt?

Most people feel only a slight pinch or nothing at all.

Do you re-use the needles?

No. All needles are sterile, one-use needles that are disposed of after treatment.
